The never-ending house

The Winchester Mystery house

Hello everyone and welcome to Creepy Café, where I tell you a spooky story while we drink together a cup of coffee.
Today's Drink: Mocha is one of my favorite drinks of all time. Because today's story is one of my all-time favorite creepy stories.

The Winchester family gained their wealth mainly due to manufacturing guns. Today's story is about William Winschter's wife Sara. She inherited half the company and 20 million dollars, she also gained around a thousand dollars a day.

She starts to believe that her family is cursed. A medium a told her the only way to apse the spirits is to move West and build a house for them, and if the construction ever stops she would be next to die. In 1884, she bought a farmhouse with 8 bedrooms on 6 archers. She started construction immediately and until she died 38 years later construction never stopped every single day of the year 24/7.

She was paranoid still that the spirits will come and get her. So she thought she would build the most confusing house in existence, so the ghosts could not find her. It is not just a giant mansion, Sara also built the house to confuse and escape the ghosts.
